This is the place where I show you what I've been creating lately. Since I've gotten married, I've had a lot of time to be creative when my husband is at work or whenever I'm bored. This is where I will share those creations with you. Enjoy!

Fun Fair
This one took a little longer then the rest. But then again that could have something to do with the fact that I was the bachelorette while making it. May I just mention that I love that show? I love that show. And my husband who bares with me while watching it.

Flowers in bloom....on a headband
I found a blog that had instructions for a headband that I fell in love with. So, I took time on this relaxing Sunday to make it. It took me about 15 minutes, and I love it!
The website I found is...
P.S. Please excuse the gross bangs in the 2nd pic :)

I figured out the flower!
So one day after saying I couldn't figure out how to make that flower, I figure it out! Woo hoo!!
This is how you do it..
1. Cut a strip of fabric to whatever length and width you want. (Keep in mind how big you want your flower to end up)
2. Thread your needle FIRST. This way you don't ruin what you've accomplished in the next step.
3. Roll one end of the fabric and thread the needle so that it won't fall off. like this..
5. White rolling into a spiral, be sure to be stitching each layer to the previous one. This is how it all stays together. If you wait to stitch it all until the end, it's going to come apart extremely easily and if you're like me, that will be very frustrating :)
6. When it's done it should look something like the picture below. Mine turned out like this...
7. You can stitch them together too! I love that look, so I made 2 more and did just that. This is how it looks..

Scrapbooking
I LOVE to scrapbook. My all time favorite scrapbooking store in the Scrapbook Barn in Gilbert. I love how they have examples displayed all over the walls. They have TONS of stuff, and it's not to expensive either. I also love to hit Hobby Lobby when they have their sales. Although, when they do I try to tell people that they can't let me in there or else I will come out with more then what I needed....
My favorite scrapbook pages are ones that have lots of extra "fluff" on them. I think that they are SO much fun to look at. :)
My favorite "fluff" items would be...
Ribbon
Flowers
Buttons
3-D looking letters (I should probably learn the technical name for those...)
I also love it when ink pads are used to make pages look distressed.
My next project will be to scrapbook Patrick and my's engagement and wedding photographs :)

I love flowers!
I've recently discovered that flowers are tons of fun to not only wear in your hair, but make! I hate it when you I go to the store and see the most amazing flower, look at the price tag, and have to put it back because it's too pricy. Well, now what I do is I go to the sale section of a fabric store, find super cute fabric for way cheap, and make it myself! It's much nicer to my wallet.
My current mission is to find a way to make flowers that look like this...

I know that there has to be a super simple trick that I'm just not figuring out, but I have a feeling I'm close. And when i figure it out, I'll post it!!
